Self propelled Diesel boom lifts are the access hire industry solutions for increasing worksite productivity when up and over reach is required in a harsh rough terrain environment. This EWP maintains compact design providing for tight turning radius with near zero tail swing assisting in excellent maneuverability on congested construction sites or for travelling (stowed) on rough uneven surfaces. They’re excellent to hire for outdoor industrial or commercial maintenance and installation applications, congested work sites, or any area with a firm, level surface that requires up and over aerial access. The diesel boom lift is characterised by very low operating noise levels, providing excellent capacity and maximising platform workspace. Rough terrain tyres are standard. These 4 x 4 boom lifts are able to traverse through uneven or rough environments more efficiently as they are designed as tough, construction oriented four-wheel drive machines ideal for demanding outdoor worksites, powered by a diesel motor which provides more torque when you need it, fitted with four wheel drive rough terrain tyres capable of providing better traction on bumpy surfaces. Our access machines are fitted with dual flashing beacons, motion alarm, either a automotive style or electric horn and rough terrain tyres as standard features.
Operators of this equipment MUST hold a current WorkCover (WP) LICENCE TO OPERATE A BOOM TYPE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM (over 11 meter) to be legally allowed to operate this equipment.
As all EWP’s have different operating procedure’s, under OHS regulations, operators are required to be trained in the safe use of any equipment prior to use, we offer YELLOWCARD training in the safe use of this EWP, with successful participants receiving a (BL) category Yellowcard.
